About the building
Olympia Plzeň Shopping Centre is located on the southeastern edge of Plzeň, in the Černice district. It is the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Plzeň and the entire West Bohemia region. Olympia Plzeň offers more than 120 stores across 42,000 m² of retail space, including an Albert hypermarket, CineStar cinema, and an outdoor car park with nearly 1,900 parking spaces.
The centre opened in March 2004 and quickly became one of the most popular shopping destinations in the Czech Republic. A major refurbishment took place in 2008, followed by a significant renovation of the food court in 2019. These upgrades helped establish Olympia as a top destination for fans of popular brands such as H&M, New Yorker, C&A, M&S, Lindex, Humanic, CCC, Tommy Hilfiger, Replay, Gant, Under Armour, s.Oliver, Steilmann, Sephora, Sportisimo, Datart, iWant, and Samsung. The centre also boasts the most diverse culinary offering in the region.
In 2023, the building was awarded BREEAM In-Use V6 – Very Good certification.
